Already prepping for next summers tuna trips?!?!
Yep, I'll take it to Cedros instead of my JX Raptor.

I was worried that you did not have enough gear.

I got 3 Kastking Sharky III baitfeeders in the 3000, 4000, and 5000 sizes. My next pickups will probably be braided line and 3 new rods for these.

I picked up a Penn FTHII60NLD2  and a Fishing Syndicate 60# rod the first of December. I still need to put line and one of Alan's handles on the reel and Alan is bringing the rod up when he comes up sage rat shooting this spring.

What line weight did Mrs. Claus get for you???

6-12 lbs. for smaller species of fish

or...

8-17 lbs. for a more robust & stout rod for larger prey????

I got a new Shimano Stella 3000 shallow spool with double handle. It will go on the rod I also got, a St.Croix Legend Elite spinning rod medium/fast 7'  The wife was very good to me!

Besides the usual current Stella FK and the soon to be available SWD, I collect Fenwick HMG and other Fenwick graphite rods from the late 70's till '92.  All rods 8' and longer.  Have a stash of more than 50 of these including unwrapped blanks. Hope I get to wrap and fish the blanks before I pass.  Retirement right around the corner.

Since SWMBO does not follow the AT Forum  :d I can safely say an HX Raptor, and a UC Predator followed me home from the PCS show.  And there is also one of Tom's Jigmaster Magnums that was just completed (going on a Fenwick Pacifistik!). - john

I somehow ended up with a spare Torque 25N, but for a killer price.  It would have been a Torque 40N but they were backordered.

Wow John, a Jigmaster Magnum....    ;D.     Kind of like finding a heavy package in the mailbox.  THANK YOU.
